Hey guys! Welcome to Quilt101. We are Wendy & Emily, a mother-daughter duo with a mission to make quilting as easy and accessible as possible. Growing up in a home full of creativity and crafting, it was not uncommon to see fabric splayed across rooms. Crafting, and quilting in particular, became a passion as we continuously experienced the power that creating can bring to a persons life.
In 2017, our pre-cut quilt kits were born as a solution to make quilting easier, less intimidating, and beginner friendly. So long were the days spending hours selecting fabric and feeling panicked that you may make a wrong cut. We do all the hard work for you so you can get straight to the fun part--sewing!
Our pre-cut quilt kits are exactly as they sound-- they are completely pre-cut! This means that every piece of fabric is cut to the correct measurements to your quilt pattern. Even the binding! This way you can take your kit straight to your sewing machine without any of the stress or worry of picking out the wrong fabric and making the wrong cut.
We built Quilt101 with beginners in mind. We understand how scary it can be to start a new hobby. We are here every step of the way with pre-cut fabric, in-depth patterns, and video tutorials so you feel confident in every step of making your quilt.
Quilting has brought so much joy to our lives and we hope to spread this passion to you. Creating something with your own hands can be extremely meditative, peaceful, and fulfilling. Plus, you have something extremely soft and cozy at the end of the day to show for it.
